​Hi, my name is Dr. Sandra Garcon Degerville. wELCOME TO YOUR healing JOURNEY! Dr. Sandra has a Doctorate in Education and Community Counseling with a concentration in Marriage and Family Therapy from Liberty University. A master’s degree in social work from Boston College and a bachelor’s degree in social work from Florida Atlantic University. Dr. Sandra is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW/LCSW) in the states of Massachusetts and Florida. Dr. Sandra has over 25 years of experience in the social service field serving a diverse and multi-generational population. 14 of those years Dr. Sandra provided direct clinical counseling services (Individual, Couple/Marriage, Family, and Group Therapy) within her two private practices in the states of Florida and Massachusetts. The Wholeness Center (TWC) and The Healing Institute(THI). TWC provided counseling services to over 2,000 clients through a dedicated staff of 20 individuals. THI continues providing clinical counseling services while also providing coaching services (Individual, Business, and Ministerial) and Consultancy Services. In partnership with the US Virgin Islands Department of Justice (USVI-DOJ), Dr. Sandra created and administered their first parenting program to the Haitian and Spanish communities in St. Thomas, St. John and St. Croix, in 2022 and 2023. This program made history twice by being the first to the Haitian community and having the biggest graduating class of any social service program in the Virgin Islands. This program was widely celebrated by several news and media outlets. Dr. Sandra continues to provide services to the citizens of the United States Virgin Islands. One of Dr. Sandra’s passions is integrating faith into psychotherapy, and working with churches and organizations to help them create and implement mental health and social service programs for their congregants and communities they serve. Dr. Sandra is a motivational teacher who has graced many stages to build and empower audiences. Dr. Sandra founded two nonprofit organizations that helped hundreds of youths and college students build healthy self-esteem, improve academically, and develop healthier social and independent living skills. Dr. Sandra is also a course creator, successfully launching her first course Loving Love Right. This is a 12-week self-paced course designed to help individuals heal from unhealthy friendships, family, and romantic relationships.
